Mickey Thompson off road series has nothing on Coach and RT going back to camp.  Pucker factor set at 11.

Power to the coil, power to the cap, but not the plugs....

  I had a 83 ford 150 that kept shearing the rispen (SP?) from the distributer shaft that holds the gear. Does the rotor spin freely?

If it makes spark then then pin is intact since the pick up is in the dist.

one fender buffed 25 more hours to go ! A hole  and you said there was no way I was getting between those trees

I'm glad it rained prior because all the mud I caked on the vehicle kept it from getting scratch and scrape marks from the dang trees that didn't know a road was there leading to camp otherwise the wifey would've really let me have it bringing HER vehicle back with scratches/scrapes.

If you have power to the distributor but no spark coming out I would be looking at either the module or the distributor itself.

Did you check the alternator?  I had an 84 ranger for years and one of the only things that I had to replace was the alternator.  I was driving and I lost power to the radio than lights and finally it just died.  May just want to check that out as a possibility.  Very easy to take out and replace.  Sometimes i wish i still had that truck.

Do you know what part of the equation you're lacking? IE no fuel, no spark?? You mentioned you bought a couple parts. Sounds like you're shot gunning parts at it.

 I was the ingition module. starts right up fine.

so you didn't have spark
