Jason Phelps article in Extreme Elk
« on: July 23, 2013, 02:13:18 PM »
Nice work Jason it was a good read!  Although I don't think I would want to by your hunting partner (I highly suspect sabotage) :chuckle: .... must be those fancy calls you make.    Anyway congratulations on a great bull and getting your story published.  I hope to hear more like it after this season.

Jason, so I see you have the two different frames. I like the Raging Bull call, it fits very well in my mouth. What frame size is that? that will help me with what I order going forward. I have purchased to many diaphragm calls that are just two large and hard to work with. It gets expensive trying things out. If I know what I need and where I can get them, I'm golden :)

Thanks in advance!

Thanks.  It is cool to see your story in a magazine (kind of brings me back to my dreams as a kid).  How'd they do editing the pictures   I haven't received mine yet and am curious what pictures got used.

Great read Jason!  I'm jelous and excited for archery season.  The pics are good and my favorite would be you walking up on the bull with your hands up. Congrats again.

Don't edit the best part!  I sure would like to see some footage o that hunt!  I assume you didn't get the kill on film?  With both of you at full draw and all.

Wil told me there was a whole lot of ugly in a row so he had to throw Cody's Bull and the Kryptek Ad in between to break it up  :chuckle:

Great read Jason!  Sounded like an amazing hunt with plenty of highs and lows.  Not packing your bow?!? That is just crazy talk man... never again right?
