supplement to my deer bait?
« on: July 26, 2013, 12:31:20 PM »
I am heading in on Sunday to check a camera that I have out in Central Washington for mulies. I started out with trace mineral salt and deer cain as my bait but I know that deer generally slow down on those as the summer drags on. Any ideas on what else I should bring in? It is about a mile or so hike in and half of is it up a pretty steep grade so I am going to pack a few lbs of salt and then maybe something else.

Mule deer will come to Falfa or grains, but usually with no regularity

Sweet cob
If we were supposed to be vegetarian God would have made broccoli more fun to shoot!
"HOYT" why would you even consider shooting something else?
