The first pics look like a normal deer shedding coats between seasons to me. Smossys pic looks horrible though.

Yeah they're not huge like the pic Smossy showed.  There are other deer with them, mostly the size of a grape but some have dozens on their legs, belly, neck areas.  Pretty gross.
