Black Widow Bullets?
« on: July 29, 2013, 05:43:02 PM »
Hey guys,

Fresh to the board here (my google searches for quality ML advice kept pointing back to this fine forum :) ).

I got a tip from one of the guys at muzzle-loaders.com about Black Widow bullets today and was curious if any one in these parts have heard of them, and/or had any experience with them.

Here's a link for reference:

Aren't they the Maxiball is a ballistic tip installed? If so, a cute idea but not going to make a difference in performance. They still hit like a cannon ball when they come into contact with heavy bone.

From what I gather they have a full plastic core that allows for the bullet to be longer than a same weight full lead maxiball and a touch lighter weight for better trajectory.

They are apparently pretty much unknown so I wanted to put some feelers out to see if anyone had used them and had anything good or bad to say about them.

Welcome! Where you from in idaho?
