I live in Seattle but my folks have a place up near Lake Wenatchee and I spend a lot of my weekends there.

I have a problem though - I have terrible cellular and data service with my iPhone and AT&T up there - even though it's fine throughout Seattle.

I was thinking I'd switch over to Verizon which seems to work much better in the Lake Wenatchee area.

Does anyone have experience with Verizon (or another carrier for that matter) in that general area?  :dunno:

I don't know a ton of folks up there so I figured I'd crowd source some advice from the Hunt-Wa community.

Thanks everyone!

I have Verizon and I get service most of the way up Stevens so I think you should be good to go if you went that route.

Verizon isn't all that great, but is the best option in Chelan and Douglas counties.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Weird, the wife and I took our granddaughters to Levenworth to see the "Sound Of Music play" at the outdoor amphitheater. We drove up to Lake Wenatchee and Fish lake to check the fish reports. My wife was on her phone the whole way. Neither of us lost signal in that area. We are on AT&T, and have iPhone 5's.

We have a place near coles corner and have verizon cell phone service.  We get great service all over there.  Do tons of hiking in the area and have service most of the time.  Hope that helps.

Thanks everyone.  The feedback seems to reinforce what I have discovered over the past few years.

Verizon it is!
