Doe tag
« on: July 31, 2013, 10:59:39 AM »
I drew a doe tag. I put in for rifle second deer. My question is being I also have multi season. Can I use that tag during any season?  I say no only rifle. My buddy argues with me  he said can be used during any season with a multi season. Anyone care to set me straight. Thanks.

The tag info you received in the mail says exactly where and ONLY where you can hunt for the second tag and when.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Your regular, over the counter tag & Multi-season permit are good for any open season/weapon for deer.  You must follow the GMU & seasons requirement as to antlered or antlerless, for each season & method.

The special permit you drew has the GMU and time frame that it can be used, and the method ie: modern, muzzie, etc., and has nothing to do with the multi-season.

Hope this answers your question.
