So we were out fishing for pinks yesterday with my parents in my Trophy off Eagle Point. We put 5 fish in the boat with a few hours of fishing. As we were taking off to head home, the engine started making a bit of a ticking noise, then lost power. I put it in neutral and headed back to check it out when it quit... tried to start it again and clunk! No movement of the flywheel!

A very nice fisherman towed us the 9 or so miles to Fisherman's Bay on Lopez, thank you for saving us a crap load of money for vessel assist.

Time to play amateur mechanic and open that baby up.
This really sucks when you live on an island, put an average of 3500 miles a year on your boat(s), neither one works, and you're not independantly wealthy.
