MA4 Kings 7-30
« on: July 31, 2013, 02:30:07 PM »
Headed out of Neah Bay before light and headed down to Umatilla Reef to fish for kings and that ended up being a bust so we headed offshore to the Shark Fin (I know we should have launched from LaPush so it wasn't a 70 mile round trip but hey its just money right !!) and found the fish, caught a pile of salmon in short order and ended up keeping some kings and a smaller coho the kings were 16# 13# and a 9# and they were super deep, we caught humpies down to 250' so the kings we got were deeper then that even !! Hope to have another report this weekend so stay tuned !!

wow, never heard of a Pink down at 250 and you must of had 300 plus out on the down rigger counter. Those kings are awfully pretty in color.

A friend of mine went up and fished out of La Push with Richeson the other day. They were mooching and nailing kings at over 300'! :yike:

Well as soon as you make up your mind let me know !!!  :P

Wow 300' mooching, that's got to be challenging !!

I was talking about the line counter at 250' so in reality the pinks might have been 200' or so !!

It was my intention to go to Blue Dot but the person I took convinced me to go to Umatilla and that turned out to be a bust, I think I'll be heading there this weekend so I hope it's still on fire !!!
