Went out for a quick hunt yesterday. Had something hang up in the treeline on the first set. Squirrel was going nuts. It never showed.
Found a fawn hoof in a pile of bear poo (along with a ton of hair and berry seeds)....that was a first for me. Lip squeeked a yote from about 150 yards to under 20...the thing ran right at me as soon as I sqeeked and only stopped once.
I missed him with my pistol...
Gave him something to think about though.
All and all, not a bad night.
