I went down to the puyallup this afternoon

Caught 1, tail snagged another

Guy next to me landed 3 humpies in the space of 4 minutes - tossed em all back ... Why is that?

First of all, nice fish.

Second. Some people are just picky.
Its usually one of the following:

1. It was a foul hook.
2. Wont eat pink's (Because they're considered the lowest grade of salmon) Still way better then fish like trout IMO.
3. Don't know how to cook and or smoke fish (If you can cook you can make dirt taste good)
4. Only Keep Hen's (Usually for the lack of fat and the promise of eggs)
5. Fish for fun, but with the money I put into it, I cant afford to not eat everything I legally catch.

I'm not picky neither. Ill eat everything. Just had some humpy and coho meat last night on the same plate, Coho is noticeably better... But the humpie's are still delicious.
If you come from low income like I do you and grateful for any food that your given.
Also will happily take any fish that someone doesn't want.

Im not hating either way, just if your gonna toss your fish. Give them to me so I can eat when I get home.

I picked up four more this morning. 

My phone is toast or I would take a picture. 

I give all my pinks to a buddy who smokes the fish.  I get a % back. 

I will be at the 66 Ave E bridge tomorrow morning at 5:10 AM.  I will fish until 7 AM then head to work

I will have a white baseball cap. 
BTW, I picked up a GoPro and I am charging it right now.  Well, I think I am charging it.

Thanks!!  I'm from Texas and this is only my second salmon run so its still a little new to me up here ... The Gulf Coast is a bit different than the PNW

Thanks for the explanation ... I'm thankful for anything I pull out of water like you are ... My family would rather eat fresh fish than anything from the store ... Even a pink.

Right on man, Keep in mind the pink salmon only run every odd year, so every two years. They come in abundance though so If you want to stock up on meat this is the time to do it.

I might take you up on that.  I purchased a chest camera mount today as well.   I have the silver Hero3.  After I get used to the camera I will get a head mount.

IMO the chest mount is one of the best. It gives a nice steady prospective and isn't swiveling and bouncing all over the place like it is on your head, Make a few videos with a head mount and you will be surprised at how much your head moves around
