Huntermans Westport Salmon
«

I took Tony and his friend out salmon fishing the last couple of days. Tony brought his boat down but it has been so foggy I did;nt feel safe with him out with only a compass so I got to go out fishing on my boat with him. The first day the visability was less than 50 yards and it was impossible to see any bird patches so we reliade on the fathometer to find bait. The first day we lost a couple big kings and managed to get some hatchery silvers. Today we did good on the kings and Tony caught the biggest king the biologist checked all year so we took it to the charter boat weigh station and it weighed 42 pounds people were just ganged around. If it would have been off a charter boat and he had a derby ticket he would be the leader this season.

Thanks for the trip Del
and that boat of yours is well too nice for words. That thing has more bells and whistles than a bell and whistle factory, and the ride is something else
.
42 pounds of fun work. That dude ran off over 250 yards of line, before we could get him turned around. As a matter of fact Buckhorn2 had to follow him with the boat so we could get him under control, then the fight started. He sure didn't like the look of that net did he Del
The first thing I said when we got him in the boat was " that dude is 40 pounds"
Missed it by 2 pounds. The 2 kings that Craig is holding are 18 pounds each
Thanks again Del, and I'm trying to plan a trip back down in maybe 2 weeks, plus when that other area you told me about opens..
