thinking about re-serving
« on: August 12, 2013, 10:29:29 AM »
my center serving is separating, causing my loop to get wonky.  it's a factory string, and this close to hunting season, a new string is not feasible.  i've served a few things in the past, but never the center serving.  does it NEED to be served for 6 inches?  seems like just a couple inches around the loop would be sufficient  :dunno:

The length it's served helps it from creeping in my experience. Personally I would do at least 5-6"
