neve hunted grouse before, i was hoping someone would have a nice little area near me they would be willing to tell me about. i live in graham. any ideas??

Andrew if you have a permit Hancock is the place. If not try heading up toward Mt. Rainer and try the FS roads up there or off of Skate Creek Road. You could even head up 410 and take FS 70. Unfortunately not to much around Graham that isn't private.

Andrew,
I agree with Sport. Use the Forest Service roads. Hunt early morning and towards the evening. They will be closer to the roads during that time picking up gravel. With all this rain they are going to hold tight to the thick brush for cover. Good luck to you.
