Kuiu Attack Pant
« on: September 03, 2014, 06:31:18 PM »
First off, I would really like to say how pleased I am with the fit of these pants. I'm a slim guy. I'm not talking 32 inch waist slim. I'm a 135 pound lean, mean, bean pole, gangly white kid. Finding regular clothes that fit well is hard enough. These things are, as my dad would say, "the cat's @ss." Been looking for a nice pair of hunting pants for a while. Got some cabelas six pocket pants that I don't really like that much. Usually just wear my carhartt ripstops in green. Tough enough that I won't tear a hole in them but if they get soaked, which takes a while, the hair is coming off my legs for sure. Finally looked into these things and my goodness. They are SUPER comfortable. As soon as I got them, I threw them on and went and ran some errands. No more binding at the knees while on a bike, they will shed water to a certain degree but dry really fast. I highly recommend these to any slimmer built folks, and the price wasn't bad enough to make the wife complain. Next step is the rain gear!

Love the side vents.  It is like having AC for the twins. Great pants for the high hunt

how are they for busting through brush.  Hate to pay that kind of cash and tear them going through brush.

If you go tromping through berry patches your gna get pulled threads. I'm fairly careful about my paths, but sometimes is cant be avoided. Most of the snags happen under the knee so a pair of gaiters could eliminate that.

Great pants, agreed. I also wear the tiburon pants a lot during archery season. In fact, I wore one pair of the tiburons for 11 days this year in brush and rock and they still look brand new.

How voluminous are the thigh cargo pockets? Can anyone compare them to the Sitka or Core4 cargo pockets?  I use mine a lot, so that really matters to me.

The Kuiu Attack pants cargo pockets are larger than the Cargo pockets on my Sitka Ascent pants. More comfortable pants too.
