blues hunt
« on: August 27, 2013, 07:36:39 PM »
Well its finally here, leave tomorrow a.m. for the hunt- weneha west archery. Should be awesome, goes against my norm, passing up big bulls to get a bigger one . I'm proof you are never to old to get excited!

Good luck and keep us posted.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Good luck you will have an awesome hunt in there. It will only get better as everyday goes by so dont burn yourself out early in that steep deep nasty country. I will be across the canyon from you in ten days or so playing with bulls in the east.  Shoot straight and get a biggun!! nwhunter

Have fun. And like it was previously stated the rut always fires up later than everyone thinks so don't get discouraged early. It will get better towards the end. I am jealous as this truly will be an awesome life experience!
