weekend scouting trip
« on: September 01, 2013, 09:12:29 PM »
been busy working weekends most of august finally had a weekend to scout. just two weeks away and I was pretty happy with what we found. keeps me going untill the 15th. seen some bucks shredding their velvet. some that looks like its been off for a few days and most were still in velvet. seen enough bucks makes me hopeful for succes maybe get a nice one this year.

Thanks gotta love blurry scouting pictures. took those pictures with a 400 lens but I needed a 600 or a better spotting scope to get decent pictures. I definitly wasnt alerting any deer to my presence with only 2 weeks left.

Wow.  Shooter for sure...

Wilson....even if I did know that spot and that dear I would never intrude on another guys spot or planned hunt. Tons of land around, enough for all of us and same with the deer. Good luck with your hunt man. Go nail em. :-) I will not be anywhere close to your spot.
