Check in to see if there is any feel free to hunt or written permission only land in the area on the DFW website.  May not be the best option but it's worth looking into.

as a matter of fact I did just that and got the weekend in 139 reserved permit to hunt private land never done this before but should be interesting and thanx

well I just got back from the reserve private land deal there was no cover for as far as my 55 years old eyes can see so I went over to a spot ive hunted before trying to get access to that rite now any way rite at the entry 2 leagle buck mulies a spike and 4 doe past it up got my bow ready walked back one of the does was lying down ! almost got a good shot at the big one but he didn't like the looks of me at full draw I guess in all a great morning !!!!! :IBCOOL:
