I heard that vinegar was a good bee repellant when cleaning gutting what have you in the woods ? rimrock is infested so im wondering ?any ideas , but really ! seriously any ideas ? :o :dunno:

I think there was just a topic about this a couple days ago maybe someone can find the link for you.  Vinegar will work great as well as lemon juice.

yep, have a rag and some vinegar and just rub the meat down with it, helps against bees and flies. ive heard black pepper does the job as well.

I do a mixture of both vinegar and lemon juice. Soak your game bags in it ahead of time and let them air dry. Then I carry a small spray bottle of it with me.

I watched a tv show years ago that had a guy use pepper. He broke out a large thing of it and shook it on the meat before he game bagged it. He said it was to keep the bees away.

Been using vinegar for 30 years for all game to keep it fresh and free from flies, bees and wiping/cleaning down the entire carcass after skinning. Never left home without a gallon jug of the stuff, if I did I always stop to pick up one before leaving pavement. I mix it one quart to two gallons of water and wipe every expose piece down with a terry towel soaked in the solution and cover with appropriate bags.  :tup:
