Fall River access

Brother and a buddy are wanting to go to Fall River to hunt elk this weekend.  I thought I heard it's all Weyerhauser land and all permit/lease but he says no.  He's asking me to ask what's the story.  Anyone have any info?  The hotline is very vague and hard to understand he says.

I believe Williams creek is open too. well parts of it anyway

williams creek is mostly hancock now with some rayonier and some dnr and some other ownership.  most all is open, but mostly gated.
