Can't get much better then that, We managed to pick quite a few when we were out looking for shooters.  :drool:

How'd you like those chanterelle's? I make a mean mushroom burger with them.
Sauted them with some shrimp and onions. Put them on some steaks. Superb! Gonna look for some more when I go camping this weekend.

Had last of Elk steak from last year and chanterelles wends night...Grouse breast wrapped in bacon on Fri ....Pork ribs and huckleberry cobbler last night.. :cue: Good thing I'm covering so many miles during day, might gain 10 lbs if not  :chuckle:

 man, these are my kind of people! Smossy that looks damn good. I usually find them in areas that have elk. Is this the same for you guys or is it just that im hunting elk at the perfect time for these mushrooms?

Keep an eye out for the Porcinis! We found a bunch last week. You think trellies are good, you havent lived till ya had Porcinis!

Keep an eye out for the Porcinis! We found a bunch last week. You think trellies are good, you havent lived till ya had Porcinis!

Never picked those before.  Seen a bunch of them from time to time.  I only have picked what I am 100% sure of.  That's Chantrelles and Morels.  May have to add these to the list.  Are there any other shrooms that look close to these porcinis and are poisonous?  I've got a book on shrooms at home I have to look at now...
