Anyone bag one and want to show me the ropes?
« on: September 10, 2013, 12:15:31 PM »
Hey Everyone, I have been on the site for a while...mostly on then off...now back on again! Always been dreaming about hunting and being successful.  Now that I am recently engaged I feel the urge to start getting some of the MANLY things like hunting actually happening!

Anyway, I have all my tags, Deer, Elk, Bear, and Cougar.  Live in Kirkland. and have been trying to make day trips out into the mountains for berries and now hunting. I respect the land, the people, the animals, and ESPECIALLY gun safety!

If someone has already bagged a bear or knows where they could take a new guy and show him some ropes, I would really appreciate it!  Maybe even trade it for some salmon fishing, which I know and have the ability to do.  (Side note: I am not the type of guy to get shown a great fishing/hunting spot, then tell the world about it and ruin it for me and the person that was gracious enough to share it with me)

Anyway, whether you wanna take me out after work one day, on an open weekend, or just point me in the right direction, I appreciate your time!!! feel free to PM me if you wanna keep the info off of this thread.

Thanks,
Kris

Thanks hard to find, I threw out some replies in there and we will see what we get.

Thought I would throw it on the bear forum too just to see if someone cruising pictures after their own success was willing to help a guy out some!
