Repairing an old bass mount?

I have an old bass mount that was my uncles. He and I were really close and he taught me to fish so I would really like to see if I could get the original mount repaired. It has yellowed very badly and the fins are brittle and breaking. Is it possible to fix it up or am I stuck having to do a replica of it?
