its amazing nobody knew about this bull...thought every big bull had a team of scouters tailing it

There were plenty of people after this bull. To include some who spent Thousands on guides to watch it. A farmer was paid nearly 10k to keep it on the property. It jumped the fence and BOOM a normal everyday Joe and great guy got to shoot the bull of a lifetime. LOVE to see this!!!

I met Jim a day or two before his hunt. I had watched that bull for three years, and last year had my daughter within 25 yards of him and his girls. Sad to see him go, but Jim worked hard and got the job done! Congrats Jim on a great bull!

Oh, and BTW, the farmer wasn't paid to keep it on his property, the bull always moved onto the ranch during the rut! Seems he liked the peace and quiet it provided for him and his harem.  :twocents:

so I went for a road trip today. Saw this guy way out in the BFE with 13cows wish he woulda been in my gmu during hunting season. Haven't gotten close to even taking a shot in a few years. Might head west for next season

I wasn't sure where he went in September because I don't spend much time there but I know where he spent May-August. he had good piece and quiet then too. I figured he'd have some eyes on him this year.

BlueBulls, you're right, Was only a matter of time before he hopped the fence, and somebody with a tag got him! Jim seemed like a great guy from our visit, and I'm glad it worked out for him.
