2 month soak gone wtf is wrong with people
« on: September 16, 2013, 04:10:25 PM »
So I have had my cam in the same spot for 5 years have never taken it down and have had it going year around for that 5 years. No one has ever messed with it until this last soak and my chip is missing they left the camera so I can't complain to much but the only thing I can think is the property next to us has gone up for sale now we have had 3 hunters hunting it with out permission that I have caught and my chip is gone. All 3 hunters said a man in a white truck on the property gave them permission. Well doing a little research on the net today the realastate agent drives a white truck wears cowboy boots ( prints leading to my cam) and also has toyo m/t tires ( tracks all over our property) hum sounds like some one need a ol country woopin to learn a lesson lol  :bash:  :bash: :bash: >:(

That sucks! I'd check back in a few days and hope he just wanted to view the pics and returns the SD card. Then get a bear box and lock.  is your cam on public or private?

Put up a hidden cam on the road leading to your trail cam.  I have caught people trespassing using that method, when they are driving they don't see the cam strapped to a tree 10 feet off the road.  Just make sure you turn the flash off or get a cam with no visible flash.  After that contact local law enforcement and let them handle it, if it is the real estate agent, contact his company as well.
