I have seen pics of something almost identical to that from the Albuquerque area I believe it was.

I wonder about his statement of "glowing red eyes".   I've shot some coyotes at night with a light and red lens and the coyote eyes were greenish.

A few drops of blood and a DNA test would clear this right up.  I don't understand why this even made the news until they tried that first.  If that was inconclusive, then it would be interesting.  But my money is on coyote or feral dog with mange, just like everyone else.

Yep, coyote with mange. seen them almost that bad.
