Congratulations! I'm waiting for that first elk experience. Maybe a lesson in trusting your gut feeling? Super happy for you and what a great looking bull to eat!
Why does my wife hate hunting season so much? Could it be the money I spend that we don't have for it? Or the one week vacation I get each year that I save for hunting only? Or maybe being left with the two kids for weekends at a time? After all that and my areas' harvest success rate for elk is about 5%.

I remember when we used to be able to shoot spikes and two points in the Winston and south.  Those were some good tasting eats as I expect that one will be!

Congratulations!  RadSav clan is happy for you
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

My biggest fear is when I die, my wife will sell all my guns for what I said they cost me!     ;)
