Williams Adjustable Rear Peep Sight
« on: September 19, 2013, 11:29:20 AM »
I just ordered the Williams Adjustable Rear Peep Sight off of Cabelas last night (expedited the shipping to get it here by next week) and was wondering if anyone knows whether or not the stock fiber optic sights on the CVA Hunterbolt Magnum will work with this peep? Or do i need to buy a new front sight? Also, i would love to hear your recommendations on a front sight that will fit this rifle and rear peep.

Here is the link to the sight i bought:

Sure it will work, but you may not want to use the actual peep insert, IE use it like a ghost ring. That will give you a larger sight picture.  :twocents:

I just did the same thing i put a williams rear peep on my bighorn with the stock green front fiber sight.  Works great.  I wont go back to normal sights.   That a 3.5" target from 100 yards.
It took me 4 shots and a few adjustments and i got it dialed in.  I started shooting at 50 yards and worked my way up.

You will be happy with it.
