Eastern Grey Squirrels are legal in WA?
« on: September 20, 2013, 05:34:14 PM »
Sometimes I hate the way WA writes their Game Hunting Pamphlets as to what is and isn't ok. Modern FireArms Deer and Elk.....not too many questions.............BUT.....almost ALL the other species, sometimes its up for interpretation, if you ask me.
So I figure to ask the people I think really know their shiznitt........YOU GUYS.
Eastern Grey Squirrels are invasive here in WA and from what I UNDERSTAND....you can hunt them. All the others however I think are off limits.
Anyone that knows more than that might post here and let me know.... :EAT:

Lady next door feeds them in her bird feeder on my fence. They take the peanuts and bury them in my tomato buckets......sometimes killing the tomato plant...I am sure I will have weapons restrictions........ :o......but I got a plan for that..... 8)

Mine would too, but I figure the ones in the neighbors yard should be free game right?  :chuckle:
Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your character is who you actually are while your reputation is merely who others think you are.

Eastern Gray Squirrels are a non-native species. There are no seasons and no limits.
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.

I live in Tacoma. Almost downtown.
One night my cat was outside raising a fuss like he was being eaten alive. I come flying outside and he is on the cab of my pick up just crying like he was insane......standing against the truck, head as hi as the bottom of the window was the biggest opossum I have ever seen. Trying to eat my cat.....shoulda killed that thing and tossed it in the bus lane. :chuckle:

Legality of airguns in WA
« Reply #14 on: September 28, 2013, 05:09:43 PM »
I called and asked WDFW, and they said they are not legal for GAME species.  So, I asked about pest species, and they said there was no restrictions.  So, if they are open year  round, and they are an invasive species, it would make sense to me that they are a pest.  I say shoot 'em if they are tearing up your stuff or chasing birds away from the feeder.

Never argue with an idiot - first they bring you down to their level, then they beat you with experience.
