I have hunted 139 extensively during the late muzzy and the rifle season, it was excellent hunting.  Bucks were everywhere and ruttin like crazy during the late muzzy season.  One of the best spots I found was a few hundred acre state piece right next to the hwy just on the n. edge of town.

So I reserved some land throughWDFW in gmus 139 and 142 off Repp Rd, Kackman RD, and Winona RD. Anyone know if these areas are any good. Im excited to head over there for a few days and give it a shot !

Kind of depends on the property, but yes there are deer in that area.  Don't be afraid to sit and let the deer come to you.

Ok great. I talked to the private land biologist and he gave me some good honest info.
