Went fishing in Louisiana- Nailed em!
« on: October 03, 2013, 06:52:20 PM »
As some of you may know, I work on an oil platform in the Gulf Of Mexico and fly back and forth for work. I came down one day early this time and went on a chartered trip with a coworker and had an absolute blast.  We caught 62 trout, and 10 redfish! Unfortunately I had to come to work the next day, so my coworker took all the fish home with him. Still worth it though!

Sounds and looks like a great time  wasn't that fishery almost wiped out by commercial fishing and now has been brought back?

I'm not familiar with the history of the area. Must be all right now though. The daily limit is 25 trout and 5 redfish so must not be too bad!
