I can give up a guy who's in SoDak that sucks, left him a primo rooster pheasant and 200 bucks and got back.......... not my bird with holes in the wings big enough for a swallow to fly through.the examples on the wall were great,as well as the deerheads, lifesize coyotes snapping at sharptails,BUT I thought about throwing away in the dump today the mount that's still in the cardboard shipping box,it's really that bad.I'm TOTALLY over the TOP picky when it comes to birds, I check the wings for holes/dinged up feathers, blood,I WONT send a bird in with a broken wing. This bird had 3/4 to inch long spurs, and not a mark on him(dog did not get it)I actually think it had a heart attack and died when I pulled the trigger.I slammed it in a nylon and hauled it right over to the guy( a buddy of my buddy).End result was a bird with nubbins for spurs and holes in the wings.Moral of the story is you work with what/who you have good experiance with.

As long as he has legally acquired and allowed to posses the animal in ND than a Washington Taxidermist can mount it.  Why doesn't he just use a Taxidermist in ND?  Not all the good taxidermists live in Washington.  LMAO.

Every state has good and not so good taxidermists.  I really don't care where he sends it to have it mounted.  I was trying to save him extra costs by shipping or driving.

I have seen some incredible mink mounts.   One of the better ones included an old time creel, and taxidermied fish and a mink sneaking in our out.   I tried one and ruined it.  I can't remember what I did.

Yeah I really like all those unusual little mounts. Mink are especially cool looking. Thanks for all the input.
