Littlest buck to date!
« on: October 06, 2013, 08:20:23 AM »

Shot my littlest buck to date this morning. Been holding out for a good one but after seeing multiple small legal bucks every day and passing, a guy can only hold off for so long! Especially the last day. I actually passed this buck opening day. Had a chance at a beast 4x4 last night but it didnt pan out. Killed this buck with traditions vortek 250gr tc shockwave with 150gr pyrodex pellets at 70yds. It totally devastated him.

meat is meat man! And that one will be tasty. Good job putting the smack down and successfully harvesting an animal. Thats what its all about.

I've never seen a two point with an eye guard, they are always smooth twos.  On the last day meat is meat!

:cue:   Pretty honorable to fill the freezer on the last day fo the season after putting in max efforts to do better earlier.  Nothing wrong with that.

In my general hunting area that would be the tastiest buck on the first day.  :chuckle: :EAT: There AINT nothing wrong with that buck.

When you are cutting up summer sausage, you very rarely cut through horns....tender is the operative word here for this age of animal. :IBCOOL:

You can't eat antlers.   :chuckle:
That's a fine buck.
I bet it's a lot bigger than most guys get this year.
