opening day plans effeced by low tides.

Well my opening day plan isn't as good as I planned now that I looked at the tides :bash:.  Not sure what to do now :dunno:.  Oh the joys of combat duck hunting public land on opening day.

So the Federal Govt Partial Shutdown lowered tides too?

Yeah, tough tides on this side of the state and federal lands closed on the eastside is making this a tough opener for sure. Our usual opening day spot is on BLM land on the eastside. The land tecnically isn't closed but the gates are all shut and locked, so no boat launch and too far to hike in. Lame!

Seriously though, tough break.  I am not into it but I know a lot of guys who are bummed about the opener situation this year.  I hope you guys figure something out.
