So after gun range visit last Friday I had big problem ...... my old scope was screwed up big time . Could not hit paper even on lead sled . With the hunting trip departure tomorrow I had to act quick so I had decided not to mess with the old stuff and got new scope . I'm glad I did . Even though the Vortex Crossfire has so many different reviews it was cheap compare to others and I think it will serve the purpose .
I'm happy .....I put on new bases,got new rings and mounted the thing on my Savage Axis 270win deer hunting rifle ..... One thing you ought to know ....my eyesight isn't the greatest ,but this thing helps me with that being 6-18x 44 mm. Today was the first day the range was open after 2 off days and I went to sight it in. After 10 rds I finally got it where I wanted to be . You can see the group - federal ammo 130gr SP - nothing fancy ...... 100yrds
