Weekend Challenge

If you guys decide to pass on him, take his pic and post it up.   There is nothing better than letting one walk and going after another.   Cell phone, point and shoot, or whatever you have.

Ok I can do that can you send me the location of where he was when you took his picture?

You want a picture of a spike? Because that's all I will be passing up. And that's only because I want a buck with more meat on him.

 :chuckle:  good one.

I'll take pictures of anything my Dad passes up.  Although I don't think it will be a legal deer

When I look at that pic in the first post, I can't help but think that deer is saying "Excuse me, do you have a moment to talk about Jesus?"

I'd greet that deer the same way I greet people knocking on my door asking the same question, but with less hesitation on pulling the trigger.

I'm usually not very picky so it might have to be a picture of all the ones I have to pass on while dragging mine out hopefully

Well, was it the right choice?  If that was the right choice I want to see more pics.  Great deer.

These are archery season pictures of a buck that I passed on September 22d.  I was looking for something just a little bit bigger and I found the right one about four hours later

I am no elitist and the buck I killed wasn't huge by any means but it sure is empowering to pass on a shooter buck.  This was the first buck I've ever passed on other than yearling bucks.

Good topic Doug.
