Nates 3 point blacktail
« on: October 12, 2013, 09:49:31 PM »
As we glassed the hillside for deer I noticed a buck peeking over the top of a stump. After setting up on a stump my son made a great shot on  the buck, which was about two hundred yards away looking at us. As Nate got a rest on a stump the buck looked to the side. When Nate fired I saw steam rise and told him he just smoked the buck. We did not find the buck at first since he was farther behind the stump than we thought, but Nate found him and said he was a 3 point. When I got to the buck I saw he had hit it in the left eye.
