Will Buy Capes! (Michelle Nelson Taxidermy)
« on: October 19, 2013, 05:17:25 AM »
I'm in need of some Extra Capes for stock.  Every year I get in the occational animal with a cape that is unmountable for one reason or another and I like to have stock capes on hand for those that may need one.  These are the capes I am most interested in:

Blacktail Deer
Mule Deer
Whitetail Deer
Antelope
Elk
Moose
Black Bear
(full hides must include claws)

Price depends on the size and quality of the cape.  Deer Capes bring up to $75. Elk up to $125.  I will exchange antler plaques for capes or shop credit.  If I have enough cash available sometimes I will pay cash.

If any of you shoot an animal with a nice cape and decent neck size and don't plan on mounting it, please let me know.  Properly cape it out and put it in the freezer or bring it right to me.  The antlers and/or Horns will be returned to you.  If you have any questions just give me a call: (360) 704 - 0034.

So why is it I've always thought you could not sell any part of a big game animal in Washington?
You'll never get a Big'un if you keep shooting Little'un's.

Edible parts are illegal to buy and sell.

Still needing stock capes.  Please no spike or doe capes.

You don't need to kill a monster buck for it to have as good size cape.  Some of the biggest blacktail capes I get are off of mature 2 points (3 years old plus).

If we were closer we'd help you out.  Sold two mature Mulies to our local taxi up here.  I'll have to look you up if I'm down in that area sometime.  I have a close friend that lives in Rochester.
