We'll never beat deer season 2013!
« on: October 21, 2013, 01:26:07 PM »
Wow what an amazing season! I got a buck opening day of muzzle load. My dad got his buck opening day of rifle season, and my brother got his buck on Thursday. All 3 dandy bucks! I was also lucky enough to put my 11 year old nephew on his first buck! Best deer season I think we'll ever have! When my brother gets his horns back from the taxidermist well get a pic of the Muley racks together and I'll post it.

Never say never, I have two bucks on the wall that are both bigger than "the biggest buck you are ever gonna shoot in your life".  That's what I was told when I shot it and had it mounted only to better it twice.

Sounds like you guys had a stellar season that you can reflect on for years to come.  I am sure this season will be discussed and maybe even embellished on around the camp fire for many years.

Congratulations on an outstanding season.

Oh I'm not saying I won't ever get a bigger buck. But I think about how hard it is to get a big buck and then think of what the odds are that a father and his 2 sons all get great bucks. And all on feel free to hunt land! I don't know if it'll get better than that! It's been an amazing season! My buck is a 4x5 with eye guards and 27 wide. I scored him at 171 5/8 gross. My dads is a 4x7 with eye guards and an extra eye guard. 24 1/2 inches wide.. Great amount of mass. With brothers is a 4x4 with eye guards and 28 inches wide. Any guesses on their scores? We'll take them to the tri cities sportsmans show in January to have them officially scored.

You are right on about the odds of it happening again with all three of you in the same season.  That does make this season even more impressive and one to definitely appreciate.

Congrats again on a great season and best wishes for more in the future.

Wow, that is a great year.  That will be tough to beat

That would be tough to beat in another state. Let alone Washington. Nice bucks.
