Coyote menace...no longer
« on: October 21, 2013, 03:38:10 PM »
Since my deer hunt ended just 45minutes after it began...I couldn't return home that fast so I decided to stay in the area, do some glassing an get more educated.  The next morning I was watching a group of doe and spikes graze and play the who's the bigger buck games with each other when they all spooked. Caught a glimpse of a shadow and found a yote circling the group.  Those deer didn't stick around but I did and now those deer can feel more comfortable hanging out in one of my favorite hunting spots.

Savage .270
Remington brass
Winchester primer
130 grain Sierra spitzer boat-tail
43 grain of IMR-4064

A little overkill for Coyote but deadly for Deer ;)  He was in the wrong place at the right time
