can a 2 and 3/4 shotgun use a 3 inch barrel and shot 2 and 3?$ shells with out creating any problems?

If the ejection port isn't designed for the longer 3 inch shells, then the answer is no.

if you are trying to add a 3" barrel to your 2 3/4" rem 1100, no.
