Most will use 640x480, but on smaller screens (like mine) it takes some scrolling to see the enitre image. 600x450 will fit on most monitors and still be big enough to see detail.

check out photobucket it resize them for you when you upload them

I usually do 600x800 so you can get good detail, while still being somewhat small in size to be somewhat dial-up friendly.
Depending on moniter size and resolution settings, it may require some users to scroll to see the image...but it works perfect for my settings.

Or if you just want to load from your drive and not use PB you can send the pics to me and I will resize them for you and shoot them back, if you don't have the abilty at home.
