This was the post I was referring to in another thread.  I do not see the posts I was referring to on here.  One of two things has happened.  They were deleted or I am confused on what website they were posted on.  If it turns out that I am wrong about the comments coming from our members, I do apologize.

No worries! It's possible the comments were posted on this site and the mods removed them. I checked the deleted items folder and found three messages that had been deleted that referenced the direction of the gun in the photo. However, if two moderators were deleting negative remarks at the same time it's possible the remarks you mentioned were completely removed with no record remaining, that's why I say the comments could have been posted on this site, we can't say for certain. Either way, your story in the other topic illustrates the kind of negativity that we want to avoid on this forum and I thank you for speaking up. Stories like you posted will help us all to understand the impacts of negative remarks and the need to clean it up!

I bet your nephew Tye ended up with a great mount or rack for the wall, congrats to him and your family!

Awesome elk, and I'll bet he will never forget that hunt. My first elk was a cow, and I can still vividly recall everything about the hunt.

We couldn't find any.  I am almost thankful because I'd have to curb stomp whomever did it.  Honestly it doesn't get much better than that.

I missed this first go around, so thanks for posting on it.  Congrats to the young man and dad!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
