So I put a lot of time in scouting the north eastern part of our state feeling confident that I would not need the late season. I had some time cleared for the last weekend of the early season and had a lot of success scouting the area. Well The day before my trip, my family got really bad news. This led to me missing the last 4 days of my early season and at the same time putting my season near an end. So I would like to hunt this weekend but don't have the slightest clue as to what unit holds more public land and closer to spokane. Or at least a 2 1/2 hour radius of me. I have thought about waiting for the late November season of 130 -142 an spending this weekend scouting a new area or keep focused on my late deer tag. Both tags are for muzzle load season. Any help is highly appreciated.
