Things did not look like the baby was coming. Took the wife for a long walk. Nothing. She could tell I was uneasy. Told me to go kill something So I went after some ducks. While I was there for the call. Been at the hospital since 6pm My new hunting partner is almost here

hey Ross that's very exciting to hear
I'm sure that Woody and the guys are missing you but what you have going on right now is well worth missing a season.
your little hunting buddy will be tagging along with you in no time
get ready for the rush of a lifetime. That big bull may have got you excited but this will be your true trophy.
congratulations to you and your wife

I know the feeling, but believe me it's the best knowing you will have a hunting partner for life. 3 years ago my boy was born on sept 8 which is right in the heart of my archery season. It killed me not going but now he is all dressed in camp with me asking "daddy shot that elk." Congrats to u and your wife hope all goes well.

Congrats on the new addition! I was lucky, none of mine were born during hunting season.

It's not the same this year! I'm used to getting your daily updates from the hill! Congrats on your new little one, she's a keeper!
