Thompson Center GreyHawk
« on: November 05, 2013, 12:01:24 PM »
I am looking for a used 54 caliber Thompson Center Grey Hawk.  I currently own 1 and love it.  I want to buy one for my kid to use but have not been able to find any source to purchase older guns like this.  Any help you guys might have to offer would be appreciated

I like to look at Muzzleloaders on Gunbroker. :dunno:

It seems like a safe place to buy, although I've never bought one.  The sellers all have reviews like on Ebay.  There is always a good selection of different types of muzzleloaders, and I believe they can be mailed right to your door without FFL paperwork.  Keep you eye out there and I'll bet a Greyhawk will come along.

Kerrdog, Thanks for the info I will check out Gun Broker.

Camp meat, I am not sure what the value is, seems like I paid around 275 for mine new but that was probably 16 years ago now.  Do you have one that is in "Excellent" Condition?

I have a nice one. The thing shoots round balls like a champ.

Yes I do, but sadly enough, I won't sell it. I've also had mine for nearly 20 years.

I know you said Grey Hawk..but would you consider a TC Black Mountain Magnum 50cal. Its basically a grey hawk with a blue fast twist 1-28 barrel with black composit stock, same as your grey hawk. gun is like brand new. Let me know if interested and I can provide more info and a picture.
