This is from Big Game Forever. Notice where they're holding these meetings.  :bash:

"Folks,

We need your help. Next week USFWS is holding 3 public comment hearings on wolf delisting.  The last hearing in Washington D.C. was filled with wolf-proliferation advocates who opposed protections for wild game which are made possible under the proposed delisting. It is important for each and every sportsmen to attend one of these hearings.  See Hearing Schedule below the map!

Remember, new aggressive plans are asking for as many as 1,000 wolves in Colorado. Expanded Wolf populations are also proposed for Texas, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Washington State, Oregon, Arizona, New Mexico, California, Maine and New York. Considering the impacts experienced in other states, the future of hunting and wild game depend on your support. Here is a map illustrating these plans for wolves across America.

Please make every effort to attend one of the following hearings:

Denver Colorado
What: Wolf Delisting Public Comment Hearing
When: Tuesday, November 19, 2013; 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Paramount Theater, 1621 Glenarm Place, Denver Colorado 80202

Albuquerque New Mexico
What: Wolf Delisting Public Comment Hearing
When: Wednesday, November 20, 2013; 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Embassy Suites, Sandia Room, 1000 Woodward Place NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102; (505) 245–7100

Sacramento California
What: Wolf Delisting Public Comment Hearing
When: Friday, November 22, 2013; 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Marriot Courtyard Sacramento Cal Expo, Golden State Ballroom, 1782 Tribute Road, Sacramento, CA 95815; (916) 929–7900

Pinetop Arizona
What: Wolf Delisting Public Comment Hearing
When: Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013
Where: Hon-Dah Conference Center, 777 Highway 260, Pinetop, AZ 85935 (3 miles outside of Pinetop at the Junction of Hwy 260 and Hwy 73); (928) 369–7625

Without wolf-delisting, important safeguards will not be available to protect hunting, livestock and wild game in America.  In fact it is now the stated goal of wolf advocates to reduce wild game populations in America which they now allege are "artificially high."  Here is a recent quote from one wolf-proliferation group:

"...Change the policies and practices of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Wildlife Services, the federal agency charged with predator control, from reliance on lethal methods to reliance on nonlethal methods and eliminate their participation in killing wolves to artificially boost game populations."

Thank you for your efforts to protect the future of elk, moose and deer.

Could the goal of the USFWS with regards to wolves be any more transparent? No meeting in MT, ID, WY, WA, or OR? Really?

The Center for Biological Diversity submitted a letter with over 50,000 signatures requesting the public hearings:

"I recommend that hearings be held in the following five cities: Portland, Ore.; Sacramento,
Calif.; Denver, Colo.; Tucson, Ariz. and Portland, Maine.

Each of these cities is located in a region where scientists have identified thousands of
acres of habitat that is suitable for wolves. The Service is aware of the studies
documenting this habitat. Wolves could be restored to these regions only through
continued federal protections for wolves and the development of federal recovery
programs."

I pulled this information out of the public record (docket), here:

Here's the answer I got back on why the meetings are where they are:

"Dear John,

Thanks for your email. I'm not sure how the schedule and locations for
hearings were determined, but with very limited resources, we are only
able to hold a few of them. I know we had requests from members of
Congress specifically to hold hearings in certain states (CO & CA), and
holding hearings in places where the wolf has not already been delisted
(MT, WY, etc.) may also have been a factor. If you are unable to attend
any of the hearings, please remember that you can mail or email your
comments to the official public docket, and this will carry exactly the
same weight as testimony given in person at one of the hearings.

Sincerely,
