Hope n' Prayers needed

My uncles plane went down on the way in to a remote wilderness hunt in Idaho yesterday morning. His good buddy also with him, and pilot. East of McCall. Heading in to the Frank Church River of No Return. Bad weather currently. Going in to the second night.

I just read they are getting a transponder signal and have limited the search to about a 2-mile radius. I hope that produces some good results really fast.

Yeah I saw that, thanks. The weather looks partly sunny there today and for the next few days. Hoping for the best today.

The problem is, those ELT signals bounce all over.  I've seen them indicate a downed plane miles from the actual plane.  Even sometimes in the opposite direction!  Still, I hope for a good outcome.
