What a beautiful old buck.  I hope he doesn't go too hungry this winter and that he makes it until spring and can lay down in the sunshine for the last time, over his kingdom.

A big two point was harassing him, and he let him have it.  No snort wheeze, no posturing, just a full out assault.  He isn't messing around.   He is probably small enough that the permit guys wont shoot him now, and I haven't seen any other big bucks in the area.   He is still spreading his genes.

11 ish maybe, if he was maxed at 8 in 2010.  He is recessing fast
