Georgia boot VS Irish setter

i am looking at the Romeo boot any comment on the best one

Apples and oranges.  Irish Setters much better and more comfy.   Romeo boot?  What is that, high backed Romeo?  Like Romeos but price keeps going up and once wet they seem to stink after a bit?  I quit em.

i have a pair of Georgia boots and love them.

On my second set of Romeos. Took me six years to wear them out. The sole finally cracked and would let water in when I walked across the yard. I always treated the leather with Obenuafs and it is still in good condition. They make a good house shoe now and I just received my new pair of Romeos. Never had any experience with Irish Setters.

Agreed, my soles wear fast.  Boot is great but I buy new every 2 years due to holes worn thru bottom.  Im ok with that.  I put them thru torture.  Im always dry, warm, and comfy.

Ive wondered about this myself. My last pair of Georgia boots were crap. Ive never had Irish Setters.

what i found is that the georgia boots are made in china and cost $69.99
the irish setter boots are made in the USA and cost $114.00
so do you get what you pay for ?

Most Irish Setters are importd from china, now

Danner super rain forest for work
Danner Pronghorn for hunting (all leather)
Georgia Romeos for casual wear and some work.
Bogs for muddy farm work
Iresh Setter (upland hunter) for, well, upland hunting.
New Balance athletic shoes for athletic activities
Crocks for stepping outside

I have a lot of money in footwear. But your feet are very important. Cold, hurt feet can ruin any activity. And I have no complaints about any product I just mentioned. Take care of them and they will take care of you.

when it comes to romeos there are none better than georgia boot hands down, i made the biggest mistake and  bought a differant brand this year cause they were 20 dollars less, well two months later i went and bought some new georgias like i have been for years.... please georgia boot please forgive me for trying to go cheap, it will never happen again. its like buying off brand peanut butter as apposed to skippy or jiff

Jackmaster...Ive always had Georgia Romeos but now Danner makes a Romeo. A standard Romeo and a 'high cut' Romeo, just like the Georgia's. A friend has the Danner high cut Romeos and raves about them. But they look a little "metro" if you will. And if you arent aware, Sunbirds in Yelm smokes everyone else in price. Worth the trip for sure.

Sunbirds in Chehalis had the higb top Danners on sale for I think $99 friday. But they didn't have much of a selection left.
